Nurse Sue and Nurse Julie available for consultation by appointment.
They are particularly concerned with promoting good health and preventing disease. They offer a wide range of services including health checks and clinics for Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension, Immunisation, Contraception, Cervical Smears (Sue only), Implanon (Sue only), Smoking Cessation (Sue only) and Travel. They also undertake general nursing activities which include dressings, ear syringing, blood tests, injections, health advice etc.
Sue Blakeway is an Independent Nurse Prescriber and is qualified to prescribe on a number of diagnoses. She combines daily treatment room duties with the more specialised minor illness clinics for all patients over 16 years old and has a specialist interest in asthma, COPD & sexual health.
Our team of District Nurses provide nursing care, in conjunction with the doctors, for those who are ill at home. They also visit and assess patients for care following hospital treatment and during acute illness. They can be contacted on 0300 0 0300 50. Their offices are at the Aldershot Centre for Health. Messages can be left via the Single Point of Access Team on the above telephone number.
